We Love Cuddleuppets!

We love our Cuddleuppets! And we love to sing the song and drive Mom crazy!  "Cuddle-Cuddle-CuddleUppets, Cuddle-Cuddle-CuddleUppets, blankets that are puppets, Cuddle-Cuddle-CuddleUppets!"

  

They are SO fun! We always bring them when we go on a trip so we have have puppet shows in the car or snuggle up when we get cold or sleepy. Ellie has a yellow dog, because she loves dogs and his name is Sunny.  Grace has a pink poodle because she loves pink. Colin has a purple monkey that got silly putty on it, but Mom washed it and it came off.

 

You can buy them for Christmas. Ellie wants a unicorn and Grace wants a ladybug.

Fashion Friday: BRIGHT

Grace is wearing bright blue tights from Target, a denim skirt from Target, a white tee from Old Navy and a bright coral trench from Kohls. I picked this because is it sunny and bright like spring and I really like the coat. The ruffle on the bottom is fun and I love the pretty buttons.

longwood gardens

We went to Longwood Gardens this weekend. It was so pretty and really fun. We love taking pictures. Ellie used her iPod and Grace used her camera.

We liked seeing all of the cool flowers. Some of them were really pretty, some were really cool and some were really weird!!

We liked the Venus Fly Traps. We wished we had a fly so we could watch the plants eat a fly. We saw it on Planet Earth, but not in real life.

We even got to plant some plants.

It was really really fun. We want to go back when it is warm out and we can see all the stuff outside. Then we can take lots more pictures. And make sure you bring more batteries, because our camera ran out.

academy of natural science

Today we had no school. (YIPEEEEEE) so we went to the Academy of Natural Science. Our brother calls it the dinosaur museum.
We like this museum a lot - it is kind of like a museum and a zoo, because it has a lot of live things you can see, too, which is really cool.
There wasn't a lot of people there, so it was like having our own museum. It was awesome, because the last time we went it was super crowded. We saw the dinosaurs first. They are a little scary because they have really big teeth. We're glad they are not alive anymore!! We were very brave:

Colin was giggling and screaming when the dinosaurs came behind us. It was so funny. We don't think he knows its just pretend!
Then we went upstairs and saw all kinds of animals. There was a real, real live shunk, but it didn't smell. We pet a lizard and turtles.

Then, we were the only ones in the whole place and we asked the lady if we could touch a bug! And she said okay! We were so so so scared. Mommy touched it first - so then we each decided to touch it. Then... it CLIMBED UP GRACE'S ARM!!

AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! It was cool, but really gross. It was hard not to scream! Ellie thought it would jump on her head.

IT was so fun. We love museums.

Fashion Friday!

We wanted to do Fashion Friday, like mom.

Ellie wore:

My navy moose shirt from Abercrombie. I like this shirt because its long and soft and it has a moose. I had to wear a long sleeve shirt under it because Mom said it was cold. My jeans are from 77kids and these are my NEW BOOTS! I wanted Uggs really bad, but mom says my feet grow too fast. These are called BearPaw, which is cool because they have a bear paw on them.

Grace wore:

I got this dress for Chrismas. Its from Old Navy and it has sparkley lines in it. I had to wear a shirt under because it is cold outside. I wore jeggings too, because I had gym class today.

SNOW

It finally, finally SNOWED! YAY!!!

We love sledding! One time we hit the tree, but it was okay because we weren't going very fast.

We wish it would snow more. This is the first time we got to go sledding all year. Next time it needs to snow on a school day!!

Christmas!!!

On Christmas Day, we got to see Marcus. He is so cute.

It was his first Christmas because he is a baby. He is 4 months old. I held him a lot. I like holding him.

We got donuts on Christmas morning. We love donuts.

Grace got a necklace with her name on it. She loved it.

Christmas is so so fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We love Christmas!!!! And Jesus!

our kitties

We got cats for Christmas and we are so so happy. We were asking and asking and asking and asking for a pet and we were so surprised when Mom and Daddy said we could get one!

This is Shadow. She is tiny and black. She likes to get in trouble by climbing on the curtains and likes to pounce on things, like a puma. Her favorite things are playing with balls and snuggling with us.

This is Sadie. She is brown and black and white. She is a snuggle bug and has the loudest purr ever! (She is sitting in Ellie's lap.)

They really like the Christmas tree and keep patting the ornaments with their paws. They didn't knock it down, though. Colin did that with a baseball bat. Mom was not very happy and he got in trouble.

charlotte's web play

On Saturday we went to another play. We love plays. You should go to plays because they are so fun to watch and so much better than a movie.

We saw Charlotte's Web. It is such a good book - we read it with Mommy and Daddy over the summer. We love animals and Charlotte and Wilber are our favorites. Templeton is a little mean in the book, but in the play he was really silly. Once he came running in from behind our seats and we JUMPED we were so surprised!!

We won a blue ribbon before the play started by playing games.

We got our hands painted and got tattoos and ate popcorn and made crafts.

The play was so so so good. Wilber was really funny when he ate and made a mess. Our favorite part was when he won the metal at the fair and when Avery broke the stinky egg. It even smelled like a barn in the theater! (Not like stinky animals, but like wood and hay.)

We got to meet Charlotte too!


We really love this play and think that everyone should go see it too, because it is really good and funny.

i love little miss muffin

Mommy gave me a Little Miss Muffin and she is so super cute. She is huggy and fun and I like making her into a muffin and back into a doll.

This is me and Little Miss Vanilla. She smells like cookies and she helps me bake with Mommy. Her hair is so cute and curly and I love her!!

NYC with Mommy

On Friday, I got to miss school and go to New York City to meet MO WILLEMS! I LOVE MO WILLEMS! He writes the best, funniest books. My favorite is Knuffle Bunny, but Elephant and Piggie and the Pigeon are my favorites too. I even have a Knuffle Bunny toy that I bought with my allowance.

First when we got off the train, we took a taxi to the American Girl Store so I could spend the gift cards I got for my birthday. That was SO FUN. I got the ballet outfit and the movie dress for my Ruthie. I was really excited! I changed Ruthie into her new dress while we took another taxi to meet Mo so she would look extra pretty.

Then we went to a restaurant and had cupcakes while we waited for Mo to arrive. I played with the Pigeon App on the iPad - it was really neat. I learned how to draw a pigeon and it is so easy. I'm such a great pigeon drawer now, see?

I got to meet Mo, who was so funny and nice. We took a picture and we were monsters.

Mo even signed a book for me! And he signed a book for my kindergarten teacher because she loves Mo Willems even more than me. She has an Elephant and Piggie tshirt!!
After that, we went to Times Square, which is my favorite place in New York, except for the American Girl Store.

Its really busy and you have to hold someone's hand so you don't get lost. We got a Starbucks (yummmmmm) and then we went to the big Toys R Us and they had a whole Barbie room! SO cool!!!

It was such a super fun day. I can't wait to go back to New York again. I want to move there and ride in taxis every day!!

pumpkin patch

We went to the pumpkin patch with church. It was fun. We liked the gourds - they look like swans!

We ate apple cider donuts and had apple cider slushies (which are AWESOME) and had so much fun.
We didn't get to go on the hayride, because we were late, but we still got lots of hay everywhere!

grace's birthday

We had a moon bounce!

These are my friends. We had so much fun bouncing - I'm really good at twirling.

Uncle Billy made balloon animals. All the boys got swords.

Mommy and I made a RAINBOW CAKE! And we had sundaes too.

It was awesome! I loved my blue and white birthday party!!

baby marcus

This is our new cousin. His name is Marcus and he is REALLLLLLLLY cute!!!

We love him!!!

the dinosaur museum

On Saturday we went to the Academy of Natural Sciences. It was so cool.

We liked the dinosaurs best.

("AHHH!!! HE'S GOT US!!!")

And the butterflies. We saw one butterfly with a broken wing.

It was really really fun.

face painting

Today we got our faces painted at a Disney party! Don't we look super cool????

Gracie: I was a butterfly princess! I had a crown with a jewel (The jewel fell off. It was green.) and a rainbow on my arm!

Ellie: I was a rainbow tiger - and I had a tiger CLAW on my arm! RAWRRRRR!!!!

we went to williamsburg

This weekend we went to Williamsburg. It is in Virginia - it was a long car ride away but it was really fun.
Gracie really liked Colonial Williamsburg. "I bought two bonnets and loved playing the stick and hoop game."

Gracie also really loved getting to hold the new baby chick at Yorktown's farm. "He was really really soft and made teeny tiny chirping noises, which was so so cute."

Ellie's favorite part was the Powhaton Indian Village at Jamestown. "We studied the Eastern Woodlands Indians in school this year, so seeing a real village was so cool. I even got to play the game where you throw corn arrows through a hoop that we read about in school."

We also went to Water Country USA and Busch Gardens. We really liked Busch Gardens - it was really really fun. The rides were so cool and we really loved seeing the animals. Ellie really likes wolves, so seeing the wolf show was neat.  The roller coaster was great - see how much we liked it? We're SCREAMMMMING!

Roller coasters are so fun because you get to scream AS LOUD AS YOU CAN. We're good at screaming!!!

We had such a fun time in Williamsburg and we can't wait to go back!!

WE MET KATY PERRY

On Sunday we got to go to see the Smurf Movie. And Katy Perry was there! She sings our favorite song. Its called Firework.

We saw her walk in the theater, and we waved at her. She was really pretty.

After the movie, we went to the bathroom and when we came out, Katy Perry was there! Mommy took our picture:

Katy was really really nice to us! I told her I really liked her Smurfette dress and she said she liked our dresses too!! She was Smurfette in the movie and she was so funny. Smurfette is our favorite Smurf because she is a girl and has long hair and is funny. We really liked the movie and had so much fun going to New York City!
Our favorite part was when the reporter asked us questions and we got to be on tv!
